3" x 6" Engraved Plaque with Text and Photo

This laser engraved metal plaque is a great add-on feature for a flag display case or other memorial item.  This plaque can have up to four lines of engraved text.

Engraved Plaques include the following:
  • Precision laser engraving
  • Twelve engraving fonts to select from (selected at check-out)
  • Letters will engrave a rich black color for a perfect contrast to the plaque
  • We will email you a proof layout before we engrave your plaque
  • Plaque comes with double faced mounting tape
  • If you purchase the plaque for a flag display case, we will mount the plaque to your case free of charge
  • Easy uploading of photo for engraving (photos are uploaded after check-out)
How the ordering process works:
  • Once you complete the check-out process you will automatically be directed to the information form.
  • The information form is where you can upload your photo for engraving.  See the section Photograph Guidelines below for more details.
  • If you don't have a high quality digital photo, you can send us a hardcopy photograph.  See the section Hardcopy Photos  listed below for detailed instructions. 
Once we receive your completed order, we will contact you via email with the layout proof for your approval before we engrave your plaque.  Once you view the proof,  you may request changes to the design and layout if you don't like what you see.  Only after we have your final approval will your item be engraved.

Hardcopy Photos

You can send us a hardcopy photograph for engraving onto the plaque if you don't have a high quality digital photo that you can email.

Please be sure to include your name, address, telephone number, and order number (from the check-out process) when sending your photograph.  We will need this information to match your photograph with your order.  Your photograph will not be harmed during the scanning process and your photo will be returned with your order.  Our maximum scanning size is 8.5" x 11".

Photograph Guidelines

Tips for submitting a photograph:
  • Please supply us with the best quality photo that you have of your loved one or pet.  The better the photo that you supply to us the better the job we can do with the laser engraving.
  • We cannot fix out of focus and blurred photos.  Some adjustments can be made within our software to adjust for brightness and contrast. 
  • For digital photos we prefer GIF, TIF, BMP file formats.  We will work with JPG file formats but some photo clarity is lost with this file format. 
  • The image should be saved with the highest resolution possible without the file size exceeding 3.5Mb.  Larger files may be emailed to:  tom@laserengraving4u.com
  • Please don't compress the image before sending to us, in most cases, this will cause a loss of photo clarity and it cannot be recovered once the file compression occurs.
